Restaurante Tartaruga, at Barra de Ibiraquera, with a street in front and the sand and lagoon beyond it, is one of our seafood recommendations. The breaded shrimp is the dish we remember. Check opening days in the guide before planning the outing.

Near Praia do Luz
Praia do Luz has little on the sand, and some of it is seasonal. For dinner, the places in Ibiraquera and Rosa's centrinho are a short drive away. The nearest are at Barra de Ibiraquera, next door to the south: Restaurante Tartaruga (Friday to Sunday, by our observation) and Zen Bistrô, whose days we have not checked yet. Go by road: crossing on the sand depends on the state of the Barra. Check what is open on your dates first.
