Casa Bajau sits on Morro do Elegante in Ibiraquera, Imbituba, about 15 minutes on foot or 3 minutes by car from Praia do Luz, and about 10 minutes by car from Praia do Rosa. The three houses share the hill and nothing else: each one is independent, with its own kitchen, its own outdoor space and no shared corridors.

- From the veranda the horizon opens a full 180° over the sea, the Ibiraquera lagoon, the sandbar and the sunset, all in one frame. From July to November, southern right whales are frequently seen from Ibirahill’s terraces, depending on animal positions and visibility: Imbituba is Brazil’s national capital for the species.
