A long, rural beach with dunes. Between July and November it is the area's main spot for watching southern right whales, from the Duna dos Três Mares lookout. The Ponta da Ribanceira, a wall of rock about two kilometres long, runs out into the sea. Sandboards can be rented on the dunes.
Praia d'água remains entirely untouched, reached only on foot via an easy trail. It's also an excellent surf spot during Tainha season or when the popular breaks get crowded.

One of the few beaches still genuinely untouched — partly because you can't drive in. Park at Praia do Ouvidor and follow a clearly signed 15-minute trail. Easy, beautiful, worth it.

A worthwhile detour. The view from the dunes towards Ibirahill is as beautiful as the reverse. Sandboards and skibundas available on site if you fancy testing your balance.
